Crystal River Cruises to Debut Shorter Crystal Getaways in 2019

In 2019, Crystal River Cruises is debuting upwards of 24 Crystal Getaways aboard Crystal Bach, Crystal Mahler and Crystal Ravel on the Danube and Rhine rivers.

The Getaways will range from six to nine days and will spend multiple overnights in a range of European cities.

“Crystal River Cruises’ hallmark is offering innovative itineraries that explore new places and longtime favorites catering to our guests’ own distinct style and length of exploration,” says Walter Littlejohn, vice president and managing director of Crystal River Cruises. “These new Getaways, along with the full complement of voyages across the fleet, will feature the personalized service, culinary experiences, expansive all-suite design and other fine details only found with Crystal.”

The Getaways will call at destinations in such countries as Austria, Germany, Hungary, Switzerland, Slovakia, Belgium and the Netherlands.

Crystal Bach Getaways will include a seven-day “Romantic Rhine” itinerary sailing between Amsterdam and Mainz, Germany; and a seven-day “Rhine Serenade” cruise operating between sailing Mainz and Frankfurt.

Crystal Mahler will offer a seven-day “Delightful Danube” sailing between Regensburg, Germany and Budapest, and a nine-day “European Escape” operating between Regensburg and Passau, Germany.

Crystal Ravel will debut an eight-day “European Treasures” cruise sailing between Nuremberg, Germany and Basel, Switzerland; and a six-day “Danube Getaway” itinerary operating between Vienna, Austria and Nuremberg. Crystal Debussy and Crystal Ravel are scheduled to enter the Crystal River Cruises’ fleet in April and May 2018, respectively, rounding out the line’s fleet to five vessels. Last month, Crystal unveiled its 2018-2019 River Cruise Atlas, which details 35 separate itineraries that will ply the Danube, Rhine, Main and Moselle rivers.

New itineraries including a 10-day “Enchanting Moselle” voyage roundtrip from Amsterdam; seven-day sailings roundtrip from Vienna; seven-day itineraries between Linz, Austria and Budapest with optional two-night pre- and post-cruise programs in Salzburg; seven-day “Tulip Time” itineraries visiting ports in the Netherland and Belgium; and a seven-day “Magnificent Christmas Markets” sailing between Passau and Budapest.
