Disney Cruise Line Announces Return of Star Wars, Marvel Day at Sea in 2020

Travelers who love the Star Wars Day at Sea and Marvel Day at Sea experiences offered by Disney Cruise Line will be excited to learn of their return in 2020.

The cruise line announced Thursday the themed five- and seven-night sailings on the Disney Fantasy and Disney Magic ships to the Caribbean and Bahamas will feature unique character encounters, live shows and action-packed entertainment.

The Star Wars Day at Sea celebrations will be featured on the seven-night Disney Fantasy sailings from January to March 2020. The voyage will boast a full day of Star Wars activities including live shows, themed family activities, unique food and beverage and special merchandise offerings.

The party will end with the Summon the Force deck party that celebrates the Star Wars universe and caps off the night with a fireworks show. Passengers will also be able to meet and interact with familiar characters such as Darth Vader, Kylo Ren, Chewbacca, C-3PO and R2-D2.

Star Wars Day at Sea festivities will only be offered on nine Disney Fantasy seven-night Caribbean cruises sailing from Port Canaveral, Florida.

As for the Marvel Day at Sea events, they will be featured as part of the five-night Disney Magic sailings to the Caribbean and Bahamas between January and early March 2020.

In addition to appearances from Captain Marvel, Captain America, Spider-Man, Iron Man and more, the voyages will include live shows, a deck show, themed activities, special merchandise and food and beverage offerings.

Marvel Day at Sea will only be offered on nine Disney Magic Caribbean and Bahamian cruises sailing from Miami, Florida.
