Get Ready to Experience the Perfect Day at CocoCay

The countdown is on until the debut of Royal Caribbean International‘s Perfect Day at CocoCay in May 2019.

Harmony of the Seas and Symphony of the Seas will begin sailing to the cruise line’s highly anticipated private destination in the Bahamas this spring, offering passengers a variety of one-of-a-kind experiences in the Caribbean.

The dozens of acres of attractions include a handful of the largest and tallest in the region, including the biggest wave pool in the Caribbean and the tallest waterslide in North America in the 135-foot Daredevil’s Peak.

Guests can choose from 13 different water slides in all. Daredevil’s Tower alone will feature the twin Dueling Demons slide as well as the near-vertical Screeching Serpent and the twisting, turning Green Mamba slide. Other pulse-pounding rides available at Thrill Waterpark include The Slingshot, The Twister and the four-lane Splash Speedway. Ideal for groups, The Slingshot can accommodate up to four passengers at a time.

Meanwhile, kids are sure to fall in love with Splashaway Bay featuring fountains, sprinklers, geysers and water cannons in addition to five slides.

CocoCay’s bold water slides are just a few of the ways guests can soak up the sun on Royal Caribbean’s private island though. Travelers can also zip line with the only water landing in the Bahamas or take in awe-inspiring land and sea views as high as 450 feet up from the Up, Up and Away helium balloon.

The exclusive Coco Beach Club will offer guests additional opportunities for fun in the sun via an oceanfront infinity pool, upgraded cuisine and the only overwater cabanas in the Bahamas.

Visitors will also want to experience Chill Island and South Beach. The latter will feature an array of exciting games and activities, including volleyball, beachside basketball, paddle boarding, kayaking and zorbing, among others.

Afterward, guests can enjoy burgers, sandwiches and salads from the complimentary Snack Shacks located throughout the island or unwind at the laidback floating bar just offshore.
