Royal Caribbean Announces 2020-21 Winter Season Itineraries

Royal Caribbean International announced Wednesday the cruise line’s new North America and Caribbean itineraries for the 2020-21 winter season.

For travelers who want to sail out of Galveston, Adventure of the Seas will call Texas home for the first time in 2020 with its unique features, including Splashaway Bay and the Perfect Storm waterslides.

Passengers can choose from four- and five-night vacations while visiting Costa Maya and Cozumel, Mexico, or seven-night Caribbean cruises year-round from Galveston on the Liberty of the Seas.

As for the Enchantment of the Seas, the ship will set sail south for the winter to homeport in San Juan, Puerto Rico, for the first time following her summer season in Galveston. The vessel will offer seven-night itineraries from San Juan and will be joined by Freedom of the Seas, which will be newly reimagined in March 2020.

Travelers looking to escape the cold by sailing from Florida will be happy to learn Explorer of the Seas will return to Miami with elevated nightlife, activities and entertainment. Five- and nine-night cruises from Miami include visits to Bonaire, Curacao and Aruba, as well as Royal Caribbean’s private destination in Labadee, Haiti.

Independence of the Seas will return to Fort Lauderdale in November 2020, sailing four- and five-night short getaways to the Western Caribbean and Nassau, The Bahamas. Vision of the Seas will be offering 10- and 11-night cruises from Fort Lauderdale to Southern Caribbean destinations, including St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Thomas, San Juan, Antigua and St. Maarten.

Rhapsody of the Seas returns to her longtime homeport of Tampa in 2020 with seven- and 11-night sailings to top destinations, such as Grand Cayman, Belize and Mexico. The Brilliance of the Seas will join Rhapsody for the season, continuing a mix of 4- and 5-night sailings to the Western Caribbean.

Seasonal winter Caribbean itineraries are now open to book.
