Royal Caribbean Hosting Largest Movie Premiere at Sea Tonight

Royal Caribbean International’s Harmony of the Seas has a starring role in the upcoming Netflix original, “Like Father.” The dramedy stars Kristen Bell, Kelsey Grammer and Seth Rogen. To celebrate the ship’s star turn, the line is screening the film this evening on its Oasis Class ships.

The Oasis fleet is the world’s largest, and includes Symphony, Harmony, Allure and Oasis of the Seas. The movie will screen in the ships’ AquaTheater, after a special celebration in the Boardwalk neighborhood.

“Like Father” was shot aboard Harmony of the Seas, and features many of its signature amenities and activities. Among them: Boleros, The Perfect Storm, FlowRider, Royal Promenade, Rising Tide Bar and the private island destination of Labadee, Haiti.

The film was written, directed and produced by Lauren Miller Rogen. Bell stars as a young advertising executive who was left at the altar. She decides to take her estranged father on her Caribbean honeymoon cruise. Not surprisingly, the ship forms the backdrop for a renewed appreciation of life and family.

“Like Father” debuts globally on Netflix August 3.
