Scenic Adds New 2019 Egypt Cruise and Land Tour Departures

Scenic has announced new departure dates in September through November 2019 for its Egypt and Jordan tours.

The line is also offering a free air promotion or $1,000 savings if they book any September 2018 through November 2019 departure by August 31, 2018.

Scenic introduced its Egypt and Jordan program in 2017, aboard the newly-refurbished, boutique Sanctuary Sun Boat III. The 11-day Treasures of Egypt itinerary sails the Nile between Luxor and Aswan. Guests stay at five-star hotels during the land portion of the tour. Highlights include the Great Pyramids and Sphynx, the temples of Ramses II and Nefertari, plus the antiquities of the Luxor Museum. Several market and city tours are also on the itinerary, as is a private sunset dinner at The Terrace in Aswan.

The 10-day Kingdom of Jordan Unveiled tour features two nights in Amman and a reenactment of Roman chariot races. Guests visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Petra and the desert landscape of Wadi Rum. They also have the chance to float in the salt waters of the Red Sea.

Both trips can be combined into The Essence of Egypt and Jordan tour, a 20-day journey.

Sanctuary Sun Boat III accommodates 36 guests in a luxurious, “roaring 20’s” ambiance. It features spacious cabins with oversized picture windows, plus a pool with tented lounge chairs on the Sun Deck.

The line also offers two four-day vacation extensions in Dubai.
