Seabourn Introduces ‘Ventures by Seabourn’ for Sojourn’s 2018 Alaska Season

Seabourn has introduced a new lineup of guided Ventures by Seabourn for its 2018 Alaska and British Columbia season. The optional, for-charge shore excursions are available on 11, 12 and 14-day sailings aboard Seabourn Sojourn.

Introduced in 2015, Ventures by Seabourn combines the comforts of ultra-luxury travel with expedition-style adventure. This year’s Ventures by Seabourn offerings will do that and more, presenting authentic views and experiences that will excite clients around every bend.”

Ventures by Seabourn expeditions include glacier, fjord and marine park explorations by kayak , Zodiac and kayak; canoe trips and several guided hikes through mountains and forests. Numerous wildlife encounters are available as well, offering the chance to see humpback whales, Steller sea lions, Horned and Tufted puffins, Sea otters, Harbor seals, Bald eagles and bears.

Ventures by Seabourn guests will travel to some of the region’s most iconic sites, such as the Aialik, Holgate, Davidson, Mendenhall and Sawyer Glaciers; College and Misty Fjords, the Inian Islands, Tracy Arm, Rainbow Falls, the Klemtu Coast and Cormorant Marine Park.

Seabourn has released a new video showcasing the vivid scenery and activities guests can experience with Ventures by Seabourn in Alaska and British Columbia.

Seabourn also offers the five-day Denali Experience, an optional Seabourn Journey available before or after all Seabourn Alaska voyages. It is fully commissionable.
