The exact date of when each passenger passed away is unknown, however, Royal Caribbean made it clear that they both died of natural and unrelated causes.

“We extend our most sincere condolences to the families of the 75-year-old and 61-year-old guests due to unrelated natural causes,” Royal Caribbean wrote in a statement to Fox News.

Both passengers were from Singapore. Royal Caribbean has notified their families and said, “Our Care Team are providing each of the families with assistance during this difficult time.”

The Voyager of the Seas is expected to return to Singapore on Friday, May 17.

In January this year, a tragic death occurred on the Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas when a 16-year-old fell from an eighth-floor balcony when the ship was docked in Haiti.
