More drink inclusions include – soft drinks and wine at lunch and dinner.

You can also get cocktails or premium spirits by purchasing a beverage package or paying a la carte.

Food and Dining

It offers multiple contemporary dining options with a delectable food menu. The menu at the Viking Cruises changes daily and offers a perfect main room dining room experience.

The World Cafe is Viking Ocean’s version of a cruise ship buffet. The menu elevates your dining experience on the ship with exotic dish options like sushi.

More complimentary eating options include –

  • Aquavit Terrace – for al fresco dining.
  • Wintergarden – offers afternoon tea and snacks

Specialty Dining

The cruise extends your dining experience with specialty dining without any upcharge. The alternative restaurant options provide a great sit-down meal option to the guests.

Available specialty restaurants include –

Serves Tuscan-inspired dishes in a beautiful warm atmosphere.

  • The Chef’s Table

Offers a 5-course tasting menu that changes every few days and is inspired by the various regions of the world.

You can access the WiFi from your cabins and the public spaces on the ship, but the connectivity varies with the location.

Shore Excursions

Viking Cruise provides complimentary shore excursions on every port of call to all its guests onboard.

Isn’t it great?

It is one of the major distinctive offerings of the Viking Cruises that other Cruise companies generally charge. The excursions are usually bus tours or walking tours, but you need to make reservations on time, although they are free.

You can also choose from the paid shore excursion packages of Viking Cruise to extend your exploration of the city.

Thermal Suite

While most of the cruises include it in their premium services, all the Viking Cruises provide complimentary access to the Thermal Suite for all the guests.

The amenities included in the Thermal Suite are –

  • Thermal pool
  • Hot tub
  • Heated loungers
  • A sauna and cold plunge
  • A snow grotto

The thermal suite on the ship is the perfect place to relax after the excursion activities.

Cruise trips get no better when you have 24-hour room service for free. Enjoy breakfast in bed or dine on the private balcony of your room in the evening.

You can choose from the exquisite room service menu and tip yourself with extra comfort levels during the trip.

Laundry

Most of the Viking itineraries are for more than 7 days. So to reduce your packaging to the minimum, Viking offers a free self-laundry option.

You can use the free detergent available on the cruise to clean your clothes.

Want your clothes pleated? Steamers are also available for free to use on the cruise.

Dropping the Anchor

Cruise trips are made more exciting by Viking. They provide enough inclusions and can be referred to as an economical ticket for immense fun and high comfort levels during the trip.
