What Travel Agents Need to Know about American Queen Steamboat Company

American Queen Steamboat Company (AQSC) is gearing up for its first voyages on its newest brand, Victory Cruise Lines—which will sail the Great Lakes and Canadian Maritimes—at the same time the American Countess is shaping up for her inaugural voyage in 2020.

Plus, the award-winning river cruise line operator is making it easier for travel agents to book their clients on one of these once-in-a-lifetime voyages.

American Queen Steamboat company provides competitive commission rates as well as a wide selection of sales and marketing collateral that agents can utilize to add their CTA to and drive business back to them.

They also have the Steamboat Academy travel agent certification program where agents can take on-demand and live webinars to learn about the cruise line’s products.

After agents become certified, they’re eligible for travel agent rates and FAM trips.

Right now, travel agents can earn their clients up to $300 of onboard credit per stateroom on any April-June 2019 voyage booked by April 30 as part of the cruise line’s new customer special offer. New customers are defined as guests who have not sailed with American Queen Steamboat Company since its inception in 2012.

Agents can also reward their clients with air credits of up to $500 per person on select 2019 river cruises. The offer, which expires May 31, 2019, includes $500-per-person air credit on American Duchess (all categories) and American Queen (Category C and above) and $150-per-person air credit on American Queen (Categories D and E) and American Empress (all categories except CS and LS).

What’s more, now through the end of April, agents can save their clients as much as $2,400 per stateroom on the American Queen Mighty Mississippi cruise departing June 23 (valid on cabin categories D, B and AA only). The epic 23-day voyage will visit more than seven states as it traverses multiple locks and dams.

For clients interested in immersive and all-inclusive small-ship cruising, American Queen Steamboat Company is offering savings of up to $2,400 per person on select voyages aboard the M/V Victory I and M/V Victory II.
