Windstar Partners with Luggage Forward

Windstar Cruises is now offering luggage delivery services to guests through Luggage Forward. The service offers doorstep-to-ship (and back) luggage transfers. For Windstar guests, that means less hassle at the airport.

In business for more than a decade, Luggage Forward is a highly-regarded international luggage shipping service. The company operates in 200 countries, utilizing a team of customs specialists across the globe. Travelers can track their luggage in real time as it makes its way to the ship. The service is bookable online or by phone.

Luggage Forward guarantees that bags will arrive safely and on time. In fact, the company offers a money-back plus $500 on-time guarantee.

“Windstar Cruises is very pleased to add this new luggage forwarding service to our selection of amenities and services,” said Windstar president John Delaney. “Our guests are pretty intrepid travelers with well-developed packing skills, but whatever size your bag is, not dragging it through the airport enhances the ease and freedom of your travel experience. We believe this front-door-to-ship accommodation service will be valued by our guests.”

Windstar has recently returned to Alaska, where it debuted its new Signature Expeditions program.
