Commune With Nature at Hotel Xcaret Mexico

At Hotel Xcaret Mexico, an impressive ecosystem rich with colors and textures sets the backdrop for communion between man and nature, an experience that even includes jungle, caves and rivers as part of the luxe resort’s eclectic scenery.

The lush scenery is just one example of the resort’s focus on the environment and of Grupo Experiencias Xcaret broader sustainability goals, which are at the very heart of everything the company does.

Grupo Experiencias Xcaret views sustainability as a key way to continue providing unique experiences for guests, which are inspired by respect for nature, culture, and life.

“For Grupo Experiencias Xcaret sustainability is the balanced creation of economic, sociocultural, and environmental value that guarantees the harmonious growth of our business and the environment in which we operate,” says the company. “We are a human team with the vision of being unique in sustainable tourism recreation.”

Located deep in the Mayan jungle on the shores of the Caribbean Sea, Hotel Xcaret Mexico itself was born using nature as the essential element to conserve and protect it.

It is the first hotel in the Americas to receive the prestigious Earth Check certification. For those not familiar with the award, Earth Check is a global organization of business advisors who specialize in sustainability that guides more than 1,300 tour and travel operators in 70 countries around the world, helping to ensure that tourism becomes sustainable in all corners of the globe.

The Earth Check certification seeks to ensure that each tourism development is not only a great place to visit and work but also improves the quality of life of local communities. To do that, Earth Check provides guidelines, tools, and indicators for the planning and design of buildings and sustainable enclosures.

In addition to earning an Earth Check certification, the design of Hotel Xcaret Mexico integrates modernism, nature and tradition to create architecture that allows guests to admire spectacular views of the turquoise sea, rivers, pools or the jungle from any point in their room.

At the core of all these efforts is Grupo Experiencias Xcaret desire to allow guests to see and remember Mexico for what it truly is.

“The vibrant experiences of our parks, the natural wealth, the living culture and the interaction with our people will forever change your concept of vacations,” says Grupo Experiencias Xcaret.
