Located five miles from the University of Florida and 15 minutes from downtown, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Gainesville I-75 offers guests convenient access to UF Health Shands Hospital, Paynes Prairie State Park, Butterfly Rainforest at the Florida Museum of Natural History and the Harn Museum of Art.

“Delivering both function and comfort, our new design and décor elevate the Fairfield brand, setting a new standard in the moderate tier category,” said Callette Nielsen, vice president and global brand manager, Fairfield Inn & Suites. “At Fairfield Inn & Suites, we provide an easy, positive and productive travel experience, as well as the promise of consistent and reliable service at an exceptional value. The Fairfield Inn & Suites Gainesville I-75 is a truly stunning example of the brand’s contemporary look and feel, and we are pleased to introduce Fairfield Inn & Suites hotels in the Gainesville area.”

From the moment they arrive, guests are welcomed by the hotel’s modern, bright new design features, including an updated exterior with a signature tower, a curved porte-cochere and an inviting glass entrance that ushers them into the hotel.

Once inside, guests experience the hotel’s open public space featuring natural light and views throughout the lobby to create synergy between both inside and outside spaces. Consistent with the Fairfield brand’s heritage of great service and a warm welcome, an angled front desk provides an innovative workspace which allows guests and staff to interact smoothly and on a more personal level.

In the lobby area, guests can choose to be productive, relax, or enjoy eating in a modern and flexible environment. The vibrant, natural color palette of greens, blues and oranges help guests unwind in the lobby’s living area and provides a connection to local gator culture. Guests will also have the option to grab a drink at the onsite bar or a snack item from the 24/7 Corner Market.

The breakfast area’s signature farm table provides a central gathering place for guests to watch television, socialize with friends or meet with colleagues in a convenient workspace. In the morning, guests can enjoy complimentary hot breakfast with healthy choices such as oatmeal, scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, fruit, yogurt, whole grain cereals, and breads.

The signature “smart” room décor warmly welcomes guests into both a comfortable and productive environment. The guest room includes a well-designed work area with a curved mobile desk, ergonomic chair, task lighting and convenient electrical outlets.

Inspired by nature, the hotel’s rooms place the living and working area near the window to allow for more natural light, and the sleeping area in the middle of the room. Plush mattresses and easy access to the bathroom and wardrobe make for maximum comfort in this arrangement.

Building on the natural design, the room décor features organic patterns that blend wood tones with bright pops of color. The spacious living area also offers a comfortable couch, refrigerator, coffeemaker, and microwave.

Additional hotel amenities include a lobby bar, an outdoor swimming pool, an exercise room, valet laundry service, complimentary Wi-Fi, as well as fax and copy services. The hotel also offers 2,310 square feet of meeting space to accommodate functions of up to 200 people.
