WHY IT RATES: The new Mayu Spa showcases picturesque views and treatments featuring 100 percent natural products.—Mia Taylor, TravelPulse Senior Writer.

Peru’s Sacred Valley of the Incas is now home to the newest Inkaterra organic spa, at the award-winning Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba.

Inspired by the nearby Urubamba river and traditional Andean architecture, the new Mayu Spa features a rustic chic design and showcases the picturesque views of the property’s organic gardens and peppertree forests.

MORE Hotel & Resort

The spa and wellness center features a plunge pool, four private therapy rooms and a dry sauna to provide a spiritual and soothing experience immersed in the evergreen mountains and harvest fields. All treatments use 100 percent natural products derived from native medicinal herbs of the region. All of Inkaterra’s environmentally conscious spas use natural ingredients found locally on the property.

Services include a range of massage therapies, Andean Stone therapy, reflexology and more.

A contemporary hacienda-style hotel in-between Cusco and Machu Picchu, was a recipient of Tatler’s 2015 Best Authentic Experience Award and was acknowledged by Condé Nast Traveler and Travel+Leisure as one of the world’s best new hotels. Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba is member of Virtuoso, Traveller Made and National Geographic Unique Lodges of the World.
