Luxury and Sophistication at Grand Hyatt Playa Del Carmen

A property whose awards include being recognized for having one of the top luxury spas in the world and being named a AAA Four Diamond award-winner, the Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen is well-known for its sophistication.

The resort’s elevated luxury materializes in both big and small ways, from its sophisticated design lines to its cuisine overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

Other highlights at the Playa del Carmen property include its three infinity pools overlooking a white sand beach with premium cabanas and wait service, and the award-winning Cenote Spa, which embraces the legendary, natural cenote healing pools found around the Mayan Riviera.

With those healing pools in mind, the spa was created to offer the ideal holistic environment, a sanctuary devoted to the wellbeing of mind, body, and spirit.

Guest rooms meanwhile are comfortable and welcoming spaces meant to provide a stylish retreat after a long day.

The 314 guestrooms, (including 36 suites with balconies or terraces), are each designed to feel like an oasis. Rooms overlook the stunning turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean Sea or the property’s uniquely preserved mangrove.

All rooms feature the popular Hyatt Grand Bed, 300 thread count linens, and floor to ceiling windows. Suites offer the added luxury of oversized bathrooms with deep soaking tubs and pampering rain showers. For even more luxury, the property also offers rooms with plunge pools or swim-up pools.

The Plunge-Pool Suite King is a privileged haven featuring unforgettable oceanfront views and uninterrupted access to a private plunge pool.

These 615-square-foot suites also feature a king bed, floor-to-ceiling windows and a furnished balcony overlooking the Caribbean. The bathroom has a double sink, tub, and an additional rain shower. Exclusive amenities range from access to the Grand Club lounge with concierge service to continental breakfast, evening cocktails, and hors-d’oeuvres.

For those who want to step up the luxury even more, there are Executive Suite King rooms and a Presidential Suite.

A few last amenities not to be overlooked, Grand Hyatt Playa del Carmen also offers a fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment and a 25-meter training pool that’s available to those who purchase of spa treatments.
