With summer quickly approaching, sunny vacays are top of mind for travelers far and wide. And it’s no secret that globetrotters are increasingly seeking out authentic, local experiences, which includes a growing penchant for charming B&Bs as an alternative to traditional cookie cutter hotels, according to Travelocity.
In fact, the online travel site recently revealed that it’s seeing a significant uptick in interest in B&Bs across major U.S. cities with bookings increasing 100 percent or more in places like Los Angeles (100%), San Francisco (125%), Chicago (149%), Detroit (145%) and Charlotte (149%).
With such data in mind, and to help travelers save on their summer trips this year, Travelocity has identified the top five domestic and international destinations where it’s possible to book B&Bs for $200 or less between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
