Sandals Resorts Launches New Sales Program

WHY IT RATES: This new program replaces the Sell ‘n Go! Rewards program and streamlines the process for earning points. —Janeen Christoff, TravelPulse Senior Writer

Sandals Resorts International is rolling out its new innovative commission program for travel agents–Points to Paradise–effective today, April 5, 2018.

This industry-shifting initiative will allow travel agents to earn more per booking, with every net room dollar booked earning a corresponding one point towards a travel agent’s own Sandals vacation. All commissionable rooms are eligible for Points to Paradise, no matter the number of guests booked–couple, family or social group.

“Travel agents have been the driving force behind Sandals Resorts’ success over the past 37 years, tirelessly helping to grow the business every day,” said Gary Sadler, Unique Vacations Inc. vice president of sales.

“This new program allows us to more directly reward and thank them for all of their hard work and loyalty to the Sandals brands with the best gift of all–a relaxing getaway to the Sandals property of their choice,” added Sadler.

Points to Paradise replaces Sell ‘n Go!, Sandals Resorts’ previous agent reward program, with a more streamlined process for earning points.

To redeem points, travel agents simply need to fill out a short form on Sandals Resorts’ Travel Agent Portal, with a reimagined dashboard showing points progress and other redemption metrics.

All Sandals Resorts properties are eligible for redemption, with each Sandals and Beaches resort grouped into four different points thresholds, ranging from 5,000 to 12,500. Top-level resorts include newly-opened Sandals Royal Barbados, Beaches Turks & Caicos and Sandals Grande St. Lucian, among others.

For more information about Points to Paradise, travel agents can call Inside Sales at 800-48-SPECIAL, contact their local business development manager and connect with other travel agents on the Facebook page, Sandals and Beaches Resorts Love Travel Agents.
