Travel Agents’ Guide to Selling Palace Resorts

Customers come to travel advisors with various travel needs, and it’s not always the easiest thing to pair a client with the perfect destination or resort.

Therefore, it is important for travel agents to do their research, participate in trainings and webinars and stay up-to-date on all things travel related. This way they can position themselves as experts when it comes to consulting clients.

Palace Resorts agrees agents should stay informed, so they’ve put together a few tips for agents to keep in mind when selling their oceanfront resorts.

Agents will be happy to know there are several resorts to choose from, with one property in the destinations of Ocho Rios, Los Cabos, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel and Isla Mujeres and five properties in Cancun.

Vacation Style

Choosing the style of vacation is very important when it comes to planning a client’s trip. Find out what your clients are traveling for. Is it a family planning a vacation over a school break, a couple celebrating a honeymoon or anniversary or a group of friends looking for an adult-only getaway?

Knowing this will help choose which resort best fits for the specific trip. For example, couples looking for a laidback, romantic retreat would love a stay at Isla Mujeres Palace.

On the other hand, a multigenerational family looking for a large, high-energy resort with plenty of entertainment will want to check out Moon Palace Cancun.

Both resorts are wonderful but very different from one another.

All Inclusive

It’s also important to ensure your clients know that when Palace says all-inclusive, they truly mean all-inclusive. Clients can relax knowing all the taxes and gratuities are included in the cost, along with all the gourmet food options at the restaurants and top-shelf liquors in the bars.

Guests of Palace Resorts will be thrilled to find out they can enjoy non-motorized watersports, 24-hour room service, resort entertainment and so much more already included in the cost. There is no need to pull out a wallet after stepping foot on property.

Perks

Finally, travel agents will want to know about the perks that come along with booking a vacation with Palace Resorts. There is a resort credit promotion guests can take advantage of when booking a minimum stay of three nights.

Visitors are able to use this resort credit for things such as spa treatments, rounds of golf and destination tours.

In addition to the resort credit promotion, agents will want to inform clients that kids and teens 17 years of age and younger stay free at all of Palace Resorts’ family-friendly properties. Parents will love hearing this and will be eager to get their vacation booked with Palace.

From large wedding groups to small family getaways, Palace Resorts has a way of making vacationers’ dreams come true. Keep these wonderful resorts in mind next time you have clients interested in a trip to Mexico or Jamaica.
