Unforgettable Moments in Saint Lucia

Saint Lucia, an eastern Caribbean island, boasts volcanic beaches, lush scenery, tropical waterfalls and a pair of mountains making it a unique island to experience. It’s often referred to as “the Hawaii of the Caribbean,” as these two places have similar picturesque views.

Visitors can choose to spend the days relaxing on the beach as the waves crash in on the shore or getting lost in the adventures this destination holds. Either way, people spending time on the island will encounter unforgettable moments that they can cherish for a lifetime.

A stay at Marigot Bay Resort & Marina allows guests access to several different experiences right at the resort as well as around the island.

Learning

There are plenty of opportunities to learn something new throughout the vacation. For example, guests can create their very own hand lotion or body scrub as they learn about the various ingredients that go into each one. They can also join the kitchen staff in making cocoa tea with local spices.

Cooking demonstrations and classes are available throughout the week as well as signature cocktail classes. Join the mixologists in learning how to create the resort’s signature cocktails. Complimentary tours of the marina are available at 4:00 p.m. and allow guests to learn insider information from the Dock Master.

Adventure

If adventurous activities are preferred, there are several to choose from during a stay in Saint Lucia. Water lovers can spend half the day on a tour snorkeling at the base of the Pitons or go a little deeper to the shipwrecks and reefs during a scuba diving tour.

Deep sea fishing is also a popular activity on the island in addition to ziplining and hiking. River kayaking tours to a nearby banana plantation are available with a personal instructor. Choose from one of these activities or plan to do them all throughout the week.

Relax

After a few days of learning and adventure, guests may be ready for some relaxation. Soaking up the sun on a lounge chair by the pool is always an option, but yoga and Pilates sessions are also available at the resort to rejuvenate the mind and body.

To take relaxation to the next level, there is a spa on property at Marigot Bay Resort & Marina where couples can indulge in a massage together. If the children need spa time as well, they can enjoy a hair and nails session where they get a manicure and pedicure along with learning fun new hairstyles.

These are just a few of the many activities available to visitors of Saint Lucia. Click here to see what other unforgettable moments await during a stay at Marigot Bay Resort & Marina.
