Monday, November 30 – Go behind the scenes of Viking ocean vessels, Viking Star and Viking Sky. Join Captain Olav Soevdsnes and Chief Engineer Dag Austad who will share more about their roles onboard and how ships run. Then Chef Thomas will tour the galley to show where the pastries, bread, gelato and more are made fresh daily.
Tuesday, December 1 – Dr. Juan R. Garcia, PhD will share a talk on “Age of the Inca,” exploring the rapid rise and fall of one of South America’s greatest empire.
Wednesday, December 2 – The final session of Wine Wednesdays, Amanda Johnson of Spy Valley Wine in New Zealand will speak with Bartholomew about the history of winemaking in the country and the family-owned winery – and of course, there will also be wine tasting.
Thursday, December 3 – Anne Diamond will interview Ben Schott – British writer, photographer and author of Schott’s Original Miscellany and Schott’s Almanac series.
Friday, December 4 – Food Fridays features a lesson in Cheese Soufflé and Chocolate Soufflé from Viking’s Alexandra Beaucler. While based in Los Angeles, Alexandra was born and raised in France.
