What’s all the buzz about in Times Square today? Actual bees.
Bees have swarmed a hot dog stand in New York City, forcing authorities to cordon off a surrounding area while the bees are removed.

Bees usually swarm in the spring and do so when a virgin queen is born and much of the hive leaves with the old queen to find a new home.
These bees are a little late to the game, but it’s not unheard of.
It’s also not the first time that bees have swarmed attractions around New York City, including Times Square.
The bees were vacuumed up by the NYPD’s beekeeper.
And, according to ABC News, “no bees were arrested—just taken in for questioning.”
With backyard entertaining, holiday festivities, and family gatherings in full swing.
