The Pensacola News Journal in Florida is reporting that a 20-year-old man has been arrested for driving through an airlines” target=”_self” rel=”nofollow”>airport fence at the Pensacola International Airport and doing doughnuts on one of the airport’s runways.
The incident occurred at 12:50 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon.

The police arrested Zane Alexander Carlson for suspicion of trespassing and criminal mischief. According to the criminal report, Carlson drove onto an active runway and then to a grassy area where he did doughnuts with his car.
The young man then proceeded to drive into an airport hangar where police caught up with him and made the arrest.
No information has yet to be released as to why Carlson drove through the fence and the airport continued to operate normally.
Earlier this year, a man disrupted travel in Hannover, Germany, when he airlines/man-drives-car-onto-runway-at-hannover-airport.html” target=”_self” rel=”nofollow”>pulled a similar stunt, driving onto the runway while high on cocaine and amphetamines. The German driver, also in his 20s, followed a plane onto a runway and then drove his car to a part of the airport where other airplanes were parked. Flights resumed approximately four hours after the incident.
In September, a man drove onto the runway by accident in Lyon, France, during a police chase. The man crashed into security barriers at the Lyon-Bron Airport.
