A United Airlines pilot has been removed from his duties and faces criminal charges of indecent exposure after he reportedly touched himself while standing naked in his hotel room window.
According to the Denver Post, 54-year-old Captain Andrew Collins was staying at the Westin Hotel at Denver International Airport on September 20 when witnesses claim they saw a man touching himself and waiving at a Transportation Security Administration officer.

The criminal complaint claims Collins was dancing and gyrating naked in the window of his 10th-floor room. The police were called and sent to the captain’s room, where he was arrested and taken to the jail inside the airport.
“Some witnesses said I was dancing, gyrating and waiving,” Collins told the Denver Post. “I’m completely innocent. It’s really unfortunate that it happened at all.”
While Collins admitted to standing naked in front of the window, he claims he was on the phone while preparing for a shower and didn’t know people could see him. The captain’s attorney, Craig Silverman, said the room was not visible to people inside the concourse, but was in the view of travelers inside the main DIA terminal.
“He was unaware of any people looking at him as he focused on his important phone call while walking around his room,” Silverman told the Denver Post. “There is zero evidence of any sexual activity demonstrating an intent to arouse or to satisfy the sexual desire of any person.”
A United spokesperson said Collins was removed from duty until the investigation was completed.
