WOW Air Offering Transatlantic Flights for $49

Travelers can snag WOW air’s lowest fare ever for a limited time.

The Icelandic low-cost carrier is offering flights from the U.S. to Europe and Iceland for as little as $49 through midnight January 18 or until seats sell out.

The offer includes flights from Boston Logan, Baltimore-Washington, Newark Liberty and Detroit Metro to Reykjavik, Dublin, Brussels, Frankfurt and London between January 21 and March 11, 2019.

The discounted fares are available for purchase at www.wowair.us.

Travelers should keep in mind the flash sale is based on WOW air’s lowest one-way basic fare and requires passengers to book roundtrip flights. Restrictions and baggage fees also apply.

“We are excited to offer our lowest price ever to travelers dreaming of a Eurotrip this year,” the airline‘s founder and CEO Skúli Mogensen said in a statement. “At WOW air, we are committed to making travel more affordable and accessible to all as traveling is a culturally enriching, enjoyable and enlivening experience.”

Monday’s flash sale announcement comes just weeks after it airlines/wow-air-cuts-service-to-four-major-us-cities.html” target=”_self” rel=”nofollow”>confirmed it will eliminate service to Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City and Dallas in 2019.
