Air France Ceases Final Identity Check

As of January 22, Air France no longer enacts its erstwhile policy of performing a final identity check to ensure that the names on flyers’ boarding passes match the names on their passports. This policy will apply to all Air France flights, including the carrier’s budget airlines Hop! and Transavia. According to the airline, this loosening of protocol comes as a result of France lifting its state of emergency back in November.
