Alaska Airlines Removes Influencer Christian Evangelist After She Preaches in the Aisle

Alaska Airlines removed an influencer Christian evangelist from one of its flights for safety reasons after she preached to fellow passengers during a delay. She documented the removal in a series of videos, one of which had already received more than 3 million views by Friday.

Whitney Lynn, a social media personality and evangelist, was aboard Alaska Airlines Flight 708 on July 30, 2026. She was traveling from Orlando to San Diego when her flight was delayed before departure. Lynn was on her way to California to attend the funeral of one of her followers.

Lynn then stood up and told other passengers that they should not be frustrated by the delay. In her sermon, she said God’s timing was perfect, adding, “and maybe he’s sparing us from danger today.”

As she told other passengers that Jesus loved them, a flight attendant’s call button could be heard.

In another video, an airline employee can be seen asking Lynn to gather her things and telling her, “crews don’t feel safe with you.”

As she was leaving, she denounced the move, calling the situation “spiritual warfare … because demons don’t like the name of Jesus.”

In a separate video, she was seen confronting the employee who asked her to leave.

No Longer Allowed on Alaska Airlines

In an emailed statement, Alaska Airlines defended its decision to remove the influencer evangelist from the flight. According to the airline, the crew “became increasingly concerned” about Lynn’s behavior.

The airline said in the email, “The passenger was asked to deplane the aircraft for safety reasons.” The statement added, “For the foreseeable future, the guest will not be permitted to travel on our flights.”

She was able to rebook her flight, but later received an email from the airline stating that she was no longer allowed to travel on Alaska, Hawaiian, or Horizon while her case and recent travels are under investigation.

Although Lynn said she received flight credits, she has no way to use them. Lynn said she plans to contact a lawyer and continue preaching on planes.

Lynn’s Instagram profile, @whitneylynn1, has 286K followers and describes her as an evangelist and singer-songwriter.
