Carnival Announces New Emoji Contest for Agents

Carnival Cruise Line has launched the “Choose Fun! Emoji Contest” for agents. From now through October 5, 2018, agents can win daily gift card giveaways. The grand prize is a seven-day Caribbean cruise for two in a balcony stateroom.

Agents can play the “Choose Fun! Emoji Contest” once daily from their PC desktop or mobile phone. They can access the game on Carnival’s Trade Facebook page. An online session will prompt agents to answer questions designed to teach them more about Carnival Cruise Line. New questions are added daily in several formats, each using emoji as answers or clues.

“Carnival Cruise Line is all about fun, and we want our agents to have fun while learning more about our brand,” said Adolfo Perez, Carnival’s senior vice president of sales and trade marketing. “Our travel partners have told us they appreciate our contests and we’re excited to show agents we value their partnership with the light-hearted trivia and great prizes in the Choose Fun! Emoji Contest.”

The “Choose Fun! Emoji Contest” adds to a number of online travel agent promotions that have included “Rock My Word,” “What’s Your Carnival IQ?” and “Keep On Rockin’.” All are part of #thelist, Carnival’s latest program for agents.

The “Choose Fun! Emoji Contest” is available to travel agents in the US, Puerto Rico and Canada.

Carnival currently has three new ships scheduled for delivery. The 133,500-ton Carnival Panorama is scheduled for debut in 2019. Two as-yet-unnamed 180,000-ton ships are set for 2020 and 2022, respectively.
