Cunard is introducing voyage and tour packages on its flagship Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria. The new pre- and post-cruise tours will range from three to four days. They’re available in popular global destinations, such as Rome, Hong Kong, Dubai and Cape Town.
“For over 178 years, guests have sailed with Cunard to discover different cultures and explore the world,” said Josh Leibowitz, senior vice president, Cunard North America. “This year we’re excited to offer our guests an opportunity to extend their visits in some of our most iconic ports of call.”

New packages include the Highlights of Rome tour available to Queen Victoria guests boarding in Rome on October 27, 2018. It includes two nights at the Starhotels Michaelangelo Hotel next to Vatican City. Guests will visit the Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, and St. Peter’s Basilica, and enjoy a traditional lunch.
Discover Hong Kong is available both pre and post-cruise for guests on the Queen Mary 2’s departure from Hong Kong March 5, 2019. It includes three nights at the Royal Garden Hotel on Kowloon. Guests will enjoy The Peak Tram funicular to the top of Hong Kong Island; a sampan boat ride; an Imperial Dim Sum lunch and trips to Stanley Village and Lantau Island.
The Dubai & Omani Peninsula tour is available pre-cruise for guests on Queen Mary 2’s March 25, 2019 departure from Dubai. It includes three nights at the Mercure Al Barsha Heights Hotel. Guests will visit the Burj Khalifa Tower, Dubai Aquarium, Jumeirah Beach, and the Musandam Peninsula. Post-cruise tours are also available for guests departing from New York or Southampton on January 3, 2019, and January 10, 2019, respectively.
Guests on the Wild Cape Town tour will spend four days at the Southern Sun Waterfront Hotel, near the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Highlights include a scenic drive along the Cape Peninsula, a Cape Point tram ride, Table Mountain cable car ride and visit to the African penguin colony at Boulders Beach. The tour is available pre-cruise for guests on Queen Victoria departing from Cape Town on April 12, 2019.
