After playing 23 seasons as a quarterback, NFL’s GOAT Tom Brady retired in February. However, this doesn’t mean that the 46-year-old is ready to relax in his retirement years.

From having his clothing brand to becoming a minority owner of a soccer team, Tom Brady is looking to explore new industries. This time around, Delta Air Lines announced its partnership with the NFL star as Tom Brady will serve as its “strategic adviser.” The company calls it a “first-of-its-kind multiyear partnership.”

What Can We Expect from Tom Brady?

According to the airline, Brady is going to be in charge of developing and overseeing “teamwork tools” as well as other strategic methods for Delta employees. He will also have an advisory role in marketing and customer engagement strategies, and work on different initiatives including having a one-on-one discussion with Delta’s CEO Ed Bastian.

Brady said in a press release, “I am grateful to be joining the Delta family, a company I have loved and respected for years.” He added, “Throughout my career, my teammates and I flew Delta countless times, spending hours traveling for some of the most important games of our lives, even celebrating Super Bowl wins on the plane. Those championship teams were built off of great leadership and a commitment to excellence, and Delta certainly shares those qualities.”

While the former NFL star’s mother was a flight attendant when he was growing up, his role remains vague, especially to fans. Thousands on social media are trying to figure out what he is doing.

If you’re going to look at his past partnerships, this move isn’t new to Brady. In 2011, he became the face of Ugg. UGG has the reputation of selling shoes considered by many as not the most stylish.

As for his partnership with Delta, it is unclear how much the airline paid him for the consultant-type role. However, it isn’t surprising if it’s not exactly cheap. For one, Brady’s 10-year partnership with FOX is  worth $375 million.
