Delta returns to CES stage to discuss innovation, travel’s future

At CES 2022, Allison Ausband will discuss the pandemic’s impact on the customer experience and Delta’s continued vision to transform travel.

Delta is returning to the most influential tech event on the planet for the fourth consecutive year. At CES 2022, E.V.P. and Chief Customer Experience Officer Allison Ausband will join a panel discussion titled “Managing Crisis While Innovating for Travel’s Future,” alongside travel industry thought leader John Padgett, president of Princess Cruises and chief experience & innovation officer for Carnival Corporation.

  • Date: Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022
  • Time: 3 p.m.
  • Location: The Venetian Lando Ballroom, Las Vegas

At the opening keynote at CES 2020, Delta CEO Ed Bastian set the airline’s memorable vision for the future of travel. Soon after, the COVID-19 pandemic upended the globe; the travel industry was especially impacted. Those that are returning the fastest have found opportunity during the crisis by listening to consumers and accelerating a world of new experiences.

Allison will talk about how the pandemic changed customer and employee attitudes for good; how Delta is navigating a smooth recovery in a choppy industry; and how – through it all – Delta continues to pull forward its vision to transform the travel journey into an experience that’s just as anticipated as the destination.
