Frontier Airlines Launches 22 New Routes Ahead of the Holidays

Frontier Airlines is launching nearly two dozen new nonstop routes across the U.S. and Puerto Rico this week, including its first flight from airlines/frontier-airlines-expanding-service-at-newark-liberty-international-airport.html” target=”_self” rel=”nofollow noopener noreferrer”>New Jersey’s Newark Liberty International Airport.

The ultra-low-cost carrier is also adding significantly more flights from Miami, Las Vegas and Phoenix this November.

New routes from Newark include Orlando; Miami; San Juan, Puerto Rico and Las Vegas while new Miami service includes flights to Boston; Detroit; Hartford, Connecticut; Newark and San Juan. Meanwhile, Frontier’s expansion in Las Vegas includes new flights to Portland; Reno, Nevada; Seattle and Orange County, California. The airline‘s growth in Phoenix includes new service to and from Detroit; Fargo, North Dakota; San Diego and Salt Lake City.

Other new service launching this week includes Cincinnati-New Orleans; Orlando-Green Bay, Wisconsin; Orlando-Kansas City; Raleigh-Atlanta; Sarasota-Trenton, New Jersey and Tampa-San Juan.

Frontier is celebrating the new routes with special intro fares starting from $29 available at FlyFrontier.com.

To take advantage of the special intro fare offer, travelers must purchase tickets by 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday, November 17. Also, keep in mind that fares are valid only on select days from Monday through Thursday for nonstop travel from December 4, 2019 through February 12, 2020. However, blackout dates apply during the holidays from December 19, 2019 through January 6, 2020.

“Frontier’s considerable service expansion this week is another milestone in our tremendous growth story,” Frontier’s senior vice president of commercial Daniel Shurz said in a statement. “We’re especially excited to begin service in Newark, growing our presence in the New York City area and creating new travel opportunities for our customers. In addition, we continue to expand our presence in exciting destinations like Las Vegas, Miami, Phoenix and San Juan.”
