Hilton’s Tapestry Collection Welcomes Three New Hotels

WHY IT RATES: The three newest additions to Hilton’s Tapestry Collection are the first to join the upscale brand in their respective cities.—Mia Taylor, TravelPulse Senior Writer.

Tapestry Collection by Hilton will welcome three new hotels from across the country to its portfolio, offering a variety of unique, upscale accommodations for both business and leisure travelers.

The Founders Inn and Spa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton and The Cotton Sail Hotel Savannah, Tapestry Collection by Hilton both recently joined the collection in October, while Hotel Don Fernando de Taos, Tapestry Collection by Hilton will join the collection in the coming weeks.

These three hotels bring impressive growth to Tapestry Collection by Hilton by increasing the number of guest rooms in the portfolio by nearly 40 percent. In addition, these properties mark the first Tapestry Collection hotels in each city, including Taos, New Mexico, Savannah, Georgia, and Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Over the next few years, the upscale collection brand is anticipated to continue this strong growth trajectory, with more than 43 hotels in the pipeline including the addition of its first two international properties in Lima, Peru.

“Since welcoming our first hotel in May of 2017, Tapestry Collection by Hilton has experienced strong growth and is continually looking to add hotels to its portfolio that are inviting and original, and in locations that give our guests a genuine experience that connects them to the local fabric,” said Jenna Hackett, global head, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. “These three property additions will be the first Tapestry Collection hotels in each city providing guests with uncommon, upscale hotels in new destinations.”

The hotels joining Tapestry Collection by Hilton this fall include:

The Founders Inn and Spa: Opened on October 2, The Founders Inn and Spa is centrally located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, only a 20-minute drive to the oceanfront or downtown Norfolk, as well as Naval Station Norfolk and other regional military facilities.

The 240-guest room resort has 18 function rooms, English gardens and a ballroom with 1,400 guest-capacity, as well as a spa and fitness center. Guests can also enjoy a menu of classic American grill house favorites sourced from local and regional artisan providers at the recently renovated on-site restaurant – The Swan Terrace Grill – led by Executive Chef Ian Robbins.

The Cotton Sail Hotel Savannah: Opened on October 23, The Cotton Sail Hotel was a 200-year-old cotton warehouse that was converted to an upscale hotel offering fresh, modern accommodations in the heart of Savannah, Georgia.

This hotel offers a rooftop restaurant, Top Deck, and on-site bar, as well as 36 river view guest rooms and nearby access to River and Bay Street.

Hotel Don Fernando de Taos: Opening this November, Hotel Don Fernando de Taos is the perfect retreat for travelers looking to enjoy nearby attractions including the Taos Ski Village, the Historic Taos Pubelo and the Ojo Caliente Hot Mineral Springs.

Originally opened in 1989, Hotel Don Fernando de Taos recently underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation including a total lobby redesign, updated guest rooms as well as eco-friendly enhancements throughout, in addition to a new front and back patio where guests can enjoy views of the nearby mountains.

Each of these hotels offers the best of both worlds by offering travelers the peace of mind that comes with the Hilton name in addition to enjoying distinct features that provide guests with authentic experiences.

Guests also have the ability to tap into Hilton Honors, the brand’s award-winning guest loyalty program. Hilton Honors members can earn points for their stay and enjoy popular digital tools available exclusively through the industry-leading Hilton Honors mobile app, where members can check-in, choose their room, and access their room using a Digital Key.
