How British Airways Is Celebrating the New Royal Baby

It’s a boy! It’s a plane!

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Harry and Meghan, welcomed a baby boy on Monday, May 6th. British Airways (BA) has something special in store to honor the newest addition to the royal family.

Passengers traveling with children will get their very own tiaras and crowns when they use the family check-in zone at Terminal 5, as well as a photo op before departure. In addition, all passengers headed to Los Angeles on BA281 and Toronto BA93 on Wed., May 8th, will be given a complimentary glass of champagne at the gate area.

“It’s only right that we raise a toast to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s newborn baby on two of the routes that are linked to the happy couple, Los Angeles and Toronto,” said Carolina Martinoli, British Airways Director of Brand and Customer Experience.

BA is also celebrating the newest addition to its fleet: the Airbus A321neo.
