Hurtigruten Offers Free Flights to Antarctica

For travelers looking to cross Antarctica off their bucket list, Hurtigruten is making it easier to reach the White Continent with free airfare.

Three unique itineraries are available with five departure dates, October 25, 2019; November 10, 2019; November 26, 2019; December 12, 2019; December 25, 2019.

Travelers can choose to sail onboard the brand new MS Roald Amundsen to the Chilean Fjords and through Patagonia as well as Antarctica on a 21-day sailing starting October 25.

The expedition explores the South American coast, explores the rich wildlife of Patagonia and travels around Cape Horn before heading to Antarctica.

A white Christmas journey sets sail onboard the MS Roald Amundsen from Punta Arenas, Chile, on December 12 and travels through the Chilean Fjords, sails around Cape Horn and through the Drake Passage to the Antarctic Peninsula during a 15-day voyage.

Three 21-day cruises sail the Chilean Fjords, Antarctica and the Falkland Islands. Guests have the chance to see glaciers calving into the ocean, flocks of penguins, pods of whales and more on sailings that depart November 10, November 26 and a Christmas cruise that sails on December 25.

The free airfare deal is available in coach class from New York (JFK), Los Angeles or Miami to Santiago, Chile. Airfare must be booked through Hurtigruten and additional departure cities are available for a fee. Transfers between the hotel, the airport and the cruise terminal are also included.
