In-Flight Birth Diverts Etihad Flight

On Wednesday, an Indonesian woman gave birth aboard Etihad Airways flight EY-474 from Abu Dhabi to Jakarta, forcing the flight to make an emergency landing at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (BOM).

Upon landing in Mumbai, the new mother and the infant were brought to Seven Hills Hospital in Andheri, where both are recovering. The flight continued on to Jakarta with a two-hour delay.
