Our tour of Quito, Ecuador wouldn’t have been complete without a stop at one of the city’s most exciting new destinations, Santana Brewing Company.
This is an amazing spot to enjoy some of the best craft beers in South America along with tasty twists on traditional Ecuadorian cuisine.
You’ll also want to get a closer look at the Vintage Lancia Limousine on display in the brewery. The car was originally brought to Quito in 1920 by the first Italian Ambassador to Ecuador. He was only there a short time and sold the car when he left — it eventually ended up in the family that owns Santana Brewing Company and brings happiness to everyone that visits.
Since we visited, Santana Brewing has begun offering helicopter tours of Quito and the surrounding area.
