Seabourn Announces Entertainment for 146-Day World Cruise

Seabourn announced the entertainment lineup for its 146-day world cruise setting sail in 2020.

The World Cruise: Extraordinary Destinations itinerary will depart from Miami on January 4, 2020, on the Seabourn Sojourn and return to San Francisco on May 28. It will feature 62 ports of call, musical productions, deck parties and onboard enrichment programming.

To celebrate Seabourn’s first World Cruise in six years, the cruise line is offering production shows produced by Belinda King Creative Productions and performed by a rotating cast.

Notable entertainment experiences and performances passengers can enjoy include a Gala Bon Voyage Dinner in Miami, Ruthie Henshall & Norm Lewis, Charl du Plessis Trio, CH2 Guitar Duo, Soweto String Quartet, Filip Wojciechowski Trio, Wouter Kellerman and His Band, Lea Salonga, Rhonda Burchmore and Rita Rudner.

“As the saying goes, ‘all the world’s a stage,’ and Seabourn is going to be taking the stage to sea with a world-class lineup of musical performances, celebrations, and engaging programming for guests to enjoy throughout our World Cruise,” Seabourn senior vice president Chris Austin said. “It’s one of many reasons why guests should select Seabourn Sojourn for their 2020 World Cruise.”

To play off the various regions on its itinerary, the World Cruise: Extraordinary Destinations voyage will host themed deck parties with local entertainers and smaller deck parties with light-hearted themes.

In addition, Seabourn will feature themed dinners at The Colonnade, performances by local entertainers, exhibits by artists-in-residence and Seabourn Conversations onboard enrichment program with distinguished speakers such as NASA astronaut John Creighton.
