Shana Wall, Ryan Seacrest’s Ex, Alleges Drinking ‘Broken Plastic’ in Suit Against American Airlines

Ryan Seacrest’s ex, Shana Wall, sues American Airlines over sustaining injuries after drinking beverage with “broken plastic.”

The former ‘Amazing Race’ contestant’s attorney, John Bailly, filed the documents on behalf of Wall on August 12. Wall alleges in the documents that American Airlines “had a duty to provide beverages and food that was uncontaminated and fit for consumption.”

The incident happened on Wall’s flight from John F. Kennedy International Airport to Rome on May 1. Because of this, Wall was seriously hurt after swallowing shards of plastic.

Wall added that American Airlines  “served a drink in a glass containing broken plastic and shards.” The former reality TV star is currently seeking ongoing medical care for internal damage.  Wall alleged that she sustained “severe injury to her throat, esophagus, vocal cords, and digestive system.”

Hospitalized After Swallowing Shards of Plastic

Wall was confined according to her lawsuit. She was also unable to work following the incident.

She claims that American Airlines “caused and created the dangerous, defective and unsafe condition on the airplane.” Plus, Wall added that the airline “is strictly liable due to its providing a beverage to the Plaintiff which was contaminated and unfit for human consumption.”

She is asking for an undisclosed amount for the alleged negligence. However, Wall and her lawyer didn’t comment when asked by news outlets. American Airlines also remained quiet regarding the incident.

Shana Wall and Ryan Seacrest dated from 2003 to 2005, according to reports. She is currently living in the Meatpacking District working as a sommelier and contributor to the men’s magazine, Best Life. She also appeared in the show Married…with Children and Entourage.

Wall has thousands of followers on social media and frequently posts her world travels. She offers wine tasting and classes and features aged wines on social media. And regarding her current condition, while Wall and her lawyer are tight-lipped as to what happened, her social media posts in mid-May featured her enjoying glasses of wine in Italy.
