‘The Jet Set’ Wins Two MarCom Awards Following 2-Season Renewal

On October 19, 2022 the MarCom Awards announced winners in the 2022 International Creative Competition for marketing and communications professionals and On It Media’s The Jet Set walked away with two wins.

MarCom Awards recognizes outstanding achievement by creative professionals involved in the concept, direction, design and production of marketing and communication materials and programs. Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, public relations firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers. MarCom is one of the oldest, largest, and most-respected creative competitions in the world.

The Jet Set was awarded a gold statue for the episode filmed on-location in San Juan & Orcas Island, Washington and won an additional award for the episode filmed in Scottsdale, Arizona. Additionally, The Jet Set en Espanol received an honorable mention for the episode filmed in Scottsdale.

“San Juan/Orcas and Scottsdale were two of our best episodes,” said Nikki Noya, co-host and executive producer of The Jet Set. “I’m happy the marketing and communications community thought the same! The episodes wouldn’t have been possible if not for the local tourism boards. We worked hand in hand with both of them to ensure these episodes looked the best they could.”

The Jet Set was recently renewed for two additional seasons, and is currently in the middle of broadcasting their seventh year on the air.

The Jet Set en Espanol, hosted by travel journalist and photographer Juan Albarran, just began it’s premiere television season with episodes airing in 20+ markets across the United States.
