The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Took Over This Airport

This holiday season Changi Airport will transform into the wonderful wizarding world of Harry Potter.

In connection with Warner Bros in Singapore, Changi Airport will feature four life-sized popular places made famous by the Harry Potter book and film series..

In Terminal 1, travelers will find New Scamander’s Menagerie shown in the newest film, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

Terminal 2 will have a replica of the famous Whomping Willow tree complete with the Weasley’s flying car.

Diagon Alley will take over Terminal 3 and feature an enchanting street that showcases favorite stores like the Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes, Quality Quidditch Supplies, and Madam Malkin’s Robes for all Occasions, which will allow travelers to dress up in Hogwarts uniforms and take a GIF in front of a magical mirror.

Terminal 3 will also be home to Hogsmeade Village with Hogwarts visible in the background. Visitors can mingle at replicas of Zonko’s Joke Shop, Madam Puddifoot’s Tea Shop, Owl Post, and Honeydukes.

The Hogwarts Express Train will also be set up here allowing for great photo opportunities.

Daily snow and light shows will be included at the Hogsmeade Village section during the lead-up to the holiday season.

Travelers are encouraged to participate in wizard and witch activities, too. Wands will be available for casting spells, and visitors can have fun with a giant Niffler while playing a coin snatching game. Those who love Quidditch can even play a Quaffle Toss game while riding on broomsticks and throwing Quaffle balls through hoops for points.

Special Harry Potter merchandise will be available for sale like a limited-edition Gryffindor scarf and travel pillows designed for the different Hogwarts houses.

Changi Airport will remain under the spell of Harry Potter’s world until mid-February 2019.
