It looks like the would-be lucky are at it again. Another passenger, also in Shanghai but this time on a Lucky Air flight, tossed coins into the engine of their plane.
Luckily fellow passengers spotted the move and alerted the crew.
The move is meant to be a “wish” for a safe flight, but it grounded the plane instead and local authorities detained the 76-year-old woman. It is not clear whether or not she will face charges.
The ground crew later found coins lying on the tarmac next to the plain.
