Sunwing Airlines passenger Daniel Macduff is suing the carrier for serving sparkling white wine instead of champagne aboard a flight that advertised an onboard “champagne toast.”
“It’s not about the pettiness of champagne versus wine,” said Macduff’s lawyer. “It’s the consumer message behind it.”
Paquette claims that 1,600 other actual people have joined in to sue the carrier.
