Air rage strikes again. This time a passenger on a British Airways flight from London to Cape Town had to be restrained during an 11-and-a-half-hour flight.
According to the Sun, Emma Langford had to be confined to her seat after she punched a flight attendant and smashed glasses when she was refused alcohol during the flight.

In court, Langford admitted to being drunk while in the air and to behaving “in a threatening manner” toward the crew as well as criminal damage, but she denies assaulting three members of the staff.
During the incident, which took place on December 6, 2018, the crew noted that she smelled of booze and approached flight attendants within 30 minutes of takeoff asking for an alcoholic beverage. The crew gave her water and said that bar service was about to begin.
Langford returned to her seat but was back moments later, which is when she began to act erratically. She became both physically violent and verbally abusive. The cabin crew reported to the court that she punched one member of the staff in the collar bone and tipped over plates, breaking them.
After the hearing, Langford will now stand trial in the Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court in August.
