Lionel Richie’s son, Miles Brockman Richie is in the news today for reportedly threatening to detonate a bomb and punching a security guard on Saturday at airlines/heathrow-looking-to-add-up-to-25000-more-flights-a-year.html” target=”_self” rel=”nofollow”>London Heathrow airport.
TMZ reported that the 24-year-old was trying to get on a flight but for some reason was denied entry. He then became angry and claimed to have a bomb in his bag that he would detonate if he wasn’t allowed on the plane.

Security showed up after the alleged bomb threat, and an altercation ensued between the young Richie and the security guard, resulting in Richie reportedly punching the guard and being detained by police.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police in London said Richie, “accepted a caution” for “communicating false information causing a bomb hoax and battery following an incident at Heathrow (Airport) Terminal 5.”
In the U.K., “accepting a caution” is the same thing as accepting responsibility, but it does not mean that the person is booked, charged with a crime, or has to go to court. Instead, the offense is put on the person’s permanent record and maintained by the police. Cautions are meant to keep the courts from being clogged by petty offenses.
Miles Brockman Richie is a fashion model, and though neither he nor his father, have commented on the matter, social media does not seem too happy with this incident.
