This Airline Employee Has Been Suspended For Selling Sex

British Airways confirmed Monday the airline has suspended a senior cabin crew member for earning extra money as a sex worker and porn star while employed by the company.

According to the Daily Mail, the unidentified manager has been grounded by the British airline until further notice after he was discovered to be charging up to £800 for an overnight stay as a sex worker.

The carrier has not named the employee as their internal investigation continues, but he reportedly advertised his sexual services online and asked potential clients to book him during stopovers based on his flight rotation.

“To use your BA career as a means to sell sex on a public site is completely unacceptable,” a whistleblower said in a comment to The Sun. “He is bringing the airline into disrepute and should be ashamed of his behavior. He could also be at risk of blackmail from a sex partner, causing a potential security risk, or a threat over the release of sensitive information over BA and its passengers.”

The employee’s social media accounts also reportedly feature photos of British Airways planes.

“We have removed a member of cabin crew from duty pending further investigation,” a British Airways spokesperson told the Daily Mail. “We expect all our staff to maintain the very highest standards and levels of professionalism at all times.”
