Travelers are preparing to hit the rails this fall to witness the beauty and splendor of the United States, and Amtrak announced a flash sale Tuesday to help customers see the country at a cheaper price.
The Northeast Regional 4 Day Sale runs through August 17 and allows customers to book their autumn day trips, weekend getaways and longer vacations anywhere along the Northeast Corridor for travel from September 5 through November 15.

The sale is valid on all Northeast Regional train service, including Keystone and Pennsylvanian trains between New York and Philadelphia; the Vermonter between New Haven and Washington, D.C.; and in Virginia as far south as Virginia Beach and Norfolk.
The discounted prices are available exclusively for one-way Coach Class fares, will be automatically applied to fares and no discount code is needed. Some of the special prices available during the sale include:

In addition to discounted fares, Amtrak has upgraded its free Wi-Fi on Northeast Corridor trains, allows the usage of phones and electronic devices at all times, permits small pets and offers spacious seats and ample leg room.
