Just in time to travel to their favorite destinations prior this fall, customers who qualify for a senior rate (65 and older) are eligible to save 30 percent off their Amtrak travel on most trains throughout the country.

The sale is valid for travel from Wednesday, September 5 to Thursday, November 15 with no blackout dates. The sale runs exclusively on Amtrak.com for booking between Tuesday, August 21 and Friday, August 24.

Valid proof of age is required for the discount and onboard the train. One child, age 2-12, may accompany each adult at half the typical adult fee.
