Amtrak Vacations Announces 10-Day Flash Sale

For those who love to see the United States via rail travel, Amtrak Vacations announced a 10-day flash sale Wednesday that runs between February 27 and March 8.

Amtrak’s national tour operator and the leading supplier of rail vacations in North America is offering couples the chance to save $300 when they upgrade to a private Bedroom sleeping accommodation on the train.

As for couples who would prefer to upgrade to a private Roomette accommodation, they will be able to save $200. The discounted fares apply to overnight train travel to any applicable destination in the U.S.

The bedrooms on Amtrak trains include two adult beds, in-room sink and vanity, an enclosed toilet and a shower. As for the Roomettes, they feature two comfortable seats which convert to a bed and nearby restrooms and showers.

An Amtrak Vacations adventure also includes all meals onboard the train, priority boarding, fresh linens and towels, climate control, personal service and access to the train station private lounge where available.

For those looking for which adventure to choose, some of the most appealing itineraries include Grand National Parks with Yellowstone, Yosemite and Glacier National Park; Northern Rail Experience; Rails to the Grand Canyon; and Grand National Parks of America.
