Flying with children airlines/watch-passenger-goes-on-tirade-after-being-seated-next-to-baby-on-flight.html” target=”_self” rel=”nofollow”>can be a difficult task for any parent or guardian, but one mother took it upon herself to help the other passengers on her flight be more understanding.
According to SFGate.com, the unidentified woman was on a flight from Seoul to San Francisco with her four-month-old child earlier this month when she decided to thank the other passengers in advance for dealing with the possibly cranky baby.
The mother handed out more than 200 small bags containing Korean candy, earplugs and a note apologizing ahead of time for any crying on the 10-hour flight. One of the people on the plane, Dave Corona, posted the heartwarming gesture on Facebook.
The note inside the bag read, “Today, I am going to the U.S. with my mom and grandma to see my aunt,” the note read. “I’m a little bit nervous and scary (sic) because it’s my first flight, which means that I may cry or make too much noise. I will try to go quietly, though I can’t make any promises… Please excuse me.”
Despite the notes and the overwhelming support from the other passengers, the child remained relatively quiet throughout the entire flight. Corona described the gesture as “very touching.”
