Variety Cruises to Remove Single Use Plastics On All of Their 8 Mega Yachts

Award-winning boutique cruise line, Variety Cruises, has announced the removal of all single-use plastic across their fleet of eight Mega Yachts by the end of 2019 as part of their sustainability and environmental initiatives.

Variety Cruises will phase out straws, stirrers, cups, lids and products wrapped in plastic. These items have already been removed from their M/S Panorama II, which will be operating Variety Cruises’ Bali & The Islands of East Indonesia cruise beginning June 15, 2019.

Passengers booking by June 15, 2019, can enjoy a 40-50 percent discount in double occupancy on this environmentally friendly island-hopping adventure to Bali & The Indonesian Islands. Solo Travelers can also take advantage of a lowered single supplement or no single supplement. The special offer applies for select 2019 sailings: June 22, July 6, August 17, 24 and September 14, 21.

Variety Cruises plans to remove single-use plastic from all of their ships by the end of the year.
